Q. What was your experience prior to Valentine?
A. I worked as a stylist assistant for magazines like Dutch, W, ID, Italian Vogue and I freelanced as a fashion editor for Teen Vogue.

Q. Whats your latest collection about?
A. Spring/Summer 2008 collection "Lux" evoking the world of travel and foreign destinations with African printed voiles, safari khakis, shanghai blue and matador reds. It is a peek into the imaginary world of Lux, the main character of "The Virgin Suicides" a beautiful, ethereal and spirited young girl on the cusp of adolescence. Trapped along with her sisters by her overbearing parents, Lux and her sisters rebel by pouring over travel magazines and dreaming of far off destinations of escape.

Q. Are there any designers you look to for inspiration?
A. Comme de Garcon - i love the world she creates

Q. What influences your work?
A. Life, my experiences in my own life.
