richard avedon at the moma

this is definitely worth checking out...the exhibit runs until november 29th.
we knew a little about avedon, that he worked with some fashion magazines like harpers bazaar and vogue but we were pleasantly surprised by the range of his fine artwork. avedon's portraits really seemed to capture someones personality. mostly they were black and white and filmed in front of a white background of ordinary men and women. really just stunning.
